Job Overview
We are hiring a Chief of Staff to work directly with executive leadership, based out of our Plovdiv office. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role for someone who wants to operate at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy, learning the levers of a fast-growing company directly from the executives leading it. You will own and evolve the dashboards and reporting tools that leadership uses to run the business, support financial planning and investment decisions, support executives for client pitch and deal meetings, and help drive competitive research and growth strategy. As we scale at an aggressive pace, this is designed as a multi-year leadership track: a high performer in this seat is positioned to grow into a senior operations, finance, or general management role as the company expands.
Responsibilities
Get Mentored on Executive-Level Decision-Making: Work side-by-side with a leadership team that brings nearly a decade of CEO experience and a background in elite strategy consulting (e.g., Bain & Company), gaining hands-on exposure to how executives evaluate deals, allocate capital, and make high-stakes calls.
Own Key Operational, Strategic, and Financial Dashboards: Maintain and continuously improve our internal dashboards (e.g., financial, operational and others) with more being built as the business grows, ensuring data accuracy, timely updates, and new functionality.
Support Financial Planning: Assist the Managing Director/CFO with financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and evaluation of future investment opportunities.
Drive Competitive Research & Growth Planning: Conduct market and competitor research to inform pricing, positioning, and vertical expansion decisions (e.g., what industries should we expand to next), and support leadership in building the plans and tracking needed to hit annual growth targets.
Support Business Development & Client Pitch Preparation: Help leadership prepare for business development meetings and client pitches: building materials, gathering account/company research, and pulling together talking points ahead of key calls.
Work with Elite Aerospace & Advanced Manufacturing Clients: Get exposure to some of the most ambitious, Silicon-Valley-backed manufacturing and aerospace startups in North America: companies operating at the edge of what's technically possible in production.
Drive Ad Hoc Strategic Projects: Take ownership of special projects assigned by the Managing Director and CEO, from research to execution.
Requirements and Qualifications
2–5+ years of experience in finance, operations, or a related analytical role
Background in strategy or management consulting, banking, accounting, business operations or a related analytical field is strongly preferred (e.g., Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, UniCredit Bulbank, Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria, or similar firms)
Strong Excel/spreadsheet and data analysis skills; comfortable working with dashboards and financial models
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; able to work directly with US and Bulgarian leadership
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams independently
Motivated to grow into the role and learn from a leadership team with deep roots in elite consulting and world-class engineering
Interest or prior exposure to sales, business development, or client-facing work; comfortable helping prepare materials and talking points for external meetings
Comfort with market research and competitive analysis, and able to synthesize industry, competitor, and pricing data into clear recommendations
Bonus: experience with financial dashboards, BI tools, or light scripting/automation (e.g. Python, Google Sheets/Apps Script)
